Over the summer, the new Welsh Government has started a series of consultations on how Wales should be governed during this Senedd
We’ve responded to three of them: energy, economy and connectivity; climate change, sustainability and rural affairs; and local government, housing and planning. You see our responses in full here:
- Energy, economy and connectivity
- Climate change, sustainability and rural affairs
- Local Government housing and planning
If you have any comments on any of these responses, or would like to discuss the Society’s positions in them, do get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
We are of course also planning to respond to the Rural Proofing White Paper and the consultation on the National Development Framework (to replace Future Wales 2040 and its ineffective strategy of defining Pre-Assessed (but not exclusive) Areas for Wind development). These responses are due in October and November this year, so if you have ideas you’d like us to take into account in responding, do let us know.
