  • Joint or Corporate membership – please indicate the name of the second member, or of the corporate entity, by adding a “Note to Seller” during checkout.
  • Gift Aid – if you pay income tax or capital gains tax, the Society can reclaim the tax on your donations and subscriptions, at no extra cost to yourself. Please tick the Gift Aid box during checkout if you wish to be sent a Gift Aid Declaration form.

Members receive an informative and attractive annual magazine, two car stickers with the CMS logo and can participate in monthly members’ walks, webinars on topics relevant to the Cambrian Mountains, the AGM and in-person seminar, and other CMS educational and social activities.

Those with e-mail addresses also receive updates about Society activities, and external events which are relevant to CMS interests.

Annual membership covers a calendar year January 1st to December 31st. If you join the Society after 1st October, your membership runs to the end of the following calendar year.

Otherwise, membership subscriptions fall due each year on 31st December.

If the subscription remains unpaid, membership lapses on the 30th June following. Individual members must be over 18 years of age.

The Society uses a secure on-line membership management system. If you have a valid email address, you can join or renew on-line, or update your details at any time.

Within the system, subscriptions can be paid online using a credit or debit card, or PayPal.  Offline you can pay by cheque or standing order.

If you have any difficulty using the system, please contact the membership secretary at the email address shown here.

Not Online?

If you are unable to join/renew using the on-line facility, you are very welcome to do so by post, but please note that, to conserve funds, the Society sends out postal communications only infrequently, and uses email extensively to keep members updated about its activities, and other relevant information.

Download our Membership Form (PDF), then print it out, fill it in, and return it with your subscription to the address shown on the form.

Gift Aid – if you pay income tax or capital gains tax, the Society can reclaim the tax on your donations and subscriptions, at no extra cost to yourself. A Gift Aid Declaration form is attached to the membership application form.

Please consider setting up a bank standing order. A standing order form is attached to the membership form.

If you have any difficulty printing the form, please contact the membership secretary at the e-mail address shown here
