On Sunday 14th September Andrew Williams will be leading a walk from the Red Kite monument opposite the Neuadd Arms in the centre of Llanwrtyd Wells. There is a public car park behind the pub.
Walk description
The walk covers 8 and a half miles with only limited ascent (430m; around 1400ft) across rough moorland, woodland tracks and minor lanes, looping between two river valleys. There are a couple of fords to cross but the stream levels at the moment are exceptionally low, and they can anyway
be avoided if the weather is wet. At the end of the loop, there is the option of pub refreshments in the Neuadd Arms. Dogs are welcome.
Please let Andrew know in advance (on the number in the Members’ email) if you intend to join us.
