The clocks are going back on 30 October so the days are getting significantly shorter, but we still have time to fit in one last Members’ walk for 2022.  On 6 November we’ll be taking a circuit from Soar-y-Mynydd over the pass into the Doethie valley and along up to the track by Ty’n Cornel hostel. Heading back up the sadly eroded (but still walkable, if no longer mountain bikeable or horse rideable) track, we’ll pass some interesting Round Cairns and drop back down to the chapel.

Cambrian-mountains-chapel-soar-y-mynyddPlenty of variety in a mere 8-9 kilometres (5.5 miles) – though the up-and-overs (out plus back) do come to around 340m (1100 ft) of climbing.  Start at 10 am, and finish at mid-Wales most remote, iconic chapel.  Full details are in the Members’ email – remember to let Lorna know in advance if you are planning to join us!
