The National Forest for Wales project has launched an online interactive map, asking for suggestions as to where more trees could be planted. You can access the Map via National Forest map
The Map is a survey so there is no guarantee any trees will go in any location you suggest. And whether more trees should go in the Cambrian Mountains, which already have a large proportion of conifer plantations, is very debatable – see in particular our policies on carbon offsetting and restoring natural processes.
Don’t forget also that the National Forest includes a tree for the garden for every household in Wales that wants one – the first collection hubs were opened on 25 February. The nearest for Cambrian Mountains residents are Machynlleth and Swansea; see full details here
