Many Members knew Malcolm Tunley, as he ran our Walks Programme from the beginning until stepping back just a couple of years ago.  We are very saddened to learn of his death on 1 July, as we know Members will also be.  Malcolm was a quiet man but his work for the Society helped to shape the spirit of it, and his knowledge and love of the Welsh countryside was an inspiration to those who met him.  We’d love to hear from you with your recollections of Malcolm, to pass on to Shirley and his family – either through the contact form or by email to Lorna on secretary@cambrian-mountains.co.uk.

His funeral will be held on Monday 21 July.  We’ll keep this post updated with details.
