Nia Lloyd-Knott is a mountain guide and also an Ambassador for two of Wales’ National Parks – but since she “discovered” the Cambrian Mountains, she has also become a fan of this less-celebrated part of Wales’ uplands. In this webinar she explains how Romanticism, based in feelings such as awe and joy found through being in nature leads people to feel connected to nature and, as a result, start to show greater respect for nature in their behaviour. These are the sort of visitors the Cambrian Mountains need!
To learn more about how to bring people, who may arrive simply to look at the views and drive through to another destination, into the category of Romantics who care about the region, its assets and its future, just watch the video above. NB Nia has some problems with her slides to start off with, but stick with it and you will get the visuals in due course.
