Mynydd y Gwynt wind farm planning application was resubmitted on 31st July 2014 to the National Infrastructure Planning Inspectorate, which has until 28th August to decide whether to accept the application. If it does, and you want to object to the proposal, you will have to register. You can sign up at the NIP website to receive notifications about the progress of the application, including an alert when registration opens.

This resubmission follows the last-minute (22nd May) withdrawal by the applicants of the original application, just before the NIP was due to decide on its acceptability. No official reason was given for the withdrawal, but some speculation may be possible based on a comparison between the original and revised applications.
